NFR holds meet with five divisions

Maligaon, November 29 (MExN): A two-day high-level meeting of Principal Heads of Departments and Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all the five divisions of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) was held at NFR headquarters in Maligaon on November 28 and 29.

 

The meeting of the divisions - Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding and Tinsukia was chaired by General Manager Sanjive Roy.

 

As per a press release from Subhanan Chanda, Chief Public Relations Officer, the meeting reviewed performance of different departments during the last eight months on various parameters including safety & security in railway premises, punctuality of train running, cleanliness in trains, ongoing developmental works and earnings. 

 

The General Manager took stock of the achievements of the zone in terms of the targets fixed at the beginning of the financial year and threadbare discussions were held to tackle all issues that adversely affect performance of the railway.

 

Senior officials discussed problems that required cooperation from each other across the table and resolved. General Manager called for increased focus on improving performance bringing in better innovations and pursue action plans prepared to achieve targets fixed by the Railway Ministry.
