Maligaon, January 31 (MExN): In a first of its kind, a workshop on “Generation Action Plan for Improving Safety” was organised by NF Railway (NFR) at Rangbhawan, Maligaon today in order to achieve the objective of “Zero Accident”. Chahatey Ram, General Manager, NFR, and Lokesh Narayan, Additional General Manager, NFR, among others participated in the workshop. The GM during the workshop interacted directly with the grassroots staff and took stock of their views relating to the safety aspects. Ram appealed to the staff for their dedicated service towards accident free train operation. During the workshop, improvement of quality of training to safety category staff, liberal availability of safety items stocks and block for maintenance work were discussed. Also action plan to make NFR an accident free zone was discussed with the stress on proper education and training of safety standards.
