NIC Kiphire conduct seminar at Agape School

More than 60 students and faculties today attended the seminar on digital payment and uses of smartphones at Agape School, Kiphire which was organised by the National Informatics Centre with Er Deepak Kumar, District Informatics Officer, Kiphire as resource person.  

Speaking at the seminar, Er Deepak said, “The digital payment will save the country's economy because if we use digital payment and shopping via digital modes, the cost of printing money will be saved where we are contributing to the growth of the economy” and asked the students to go for digital payments. He also shared advantages of digital payments and also shared in details on different ways of using digital payments.  

Speaking on the uses of smartphones, the resource person said, everyone should use smartphones with a condition “to use it judiciously.” He also warned students not to download and play games but can use subject and news related applications which will help them to focus in life to let them live happily provided they are free in leisure time.  

Sharing on his experiences, the resource person also asked the students to maintain reading habit if they want to be successful in life and also added, “there is no substitute to hard work” and advised the students to give ones best if they want to be successful in life.
