NIIT Dimapur celebrates world computer literacy day

Dimapur, December 6 (MExN): NIIT Dimapur Center held an interactive session within the team members with regard to the current industry perspective, on the occasion of world computer literacy day on December 2. Sheikh Salim Ali, former Quality Analyst at Wipro, Kolkata & Kallol Nath, former YouTube Administrator at Google Process through Concentrix, New Delhi were the resource persons on the occasion.


A press release from the center said Ali was an alumnus of NIIT Dimapur Center who did his GNIIT (Software Engineering) & Systems & Networking earlier.


Sharing their experiences, the resource persons exhorted the NIITians to be ever-willing to work in top notch companies where the work environment is friendly and highly paid with time flexibilities. They held that Dimapurians can excel in big companies by working smarter with confidence.


Ali urged upon the NIITians to be observant of the opportunities, which are available everywhere, with a focused approach. “Always be hardworking with smart and creative thinking,” he added.


Nath highlighted about youtube rules & regulations which disallow uploading of porn, violence and spam videos and may lead to termination of the channel accounts and criminal offence. Knowledge of Dot net framework, Databases, Programming Languages, he said are essential for landing MNC job. In today’s time, many companies look for talent rather than qualification, Nath added. Ajay Sethi, Managing Director highlighted about the placement opportunities available to NIITians across the country through the placement cell of NIIT.
