No camps, no proxy voting in Tsiepfütsiepfhe

Kohima, February 12 (MExN): To maintain peace and tranquility in the colony, Tsiepfütsiepfhe Council (AG Colony) along with the GBs of the colony has passed resolutions in connection to the ensuing general election during a meeting on February 11 at Tsiepfütsiepfhe Council Hall.  

“Keeping in mind the interest of students communities where many students will be appearing various board and university examination so the council members has decided that no political parties will be allowed to organise or set up camps within the colony during election,” stated a press release from Metevil Naleo, chairman, Tsiepfütsiepfhe Council (AG Colony).  

The meeting also resolved that only genuine voters in the colony will be allowed to cast vote. “No proxy voting will be entertained or allowed. The house has decided to strictly adhere to 'One man one vote',” the press release added.  

Meanwhile, the Tsiepfutsiepfhe Council and GBs stated they will take stern action deemed appropriate against any members in the colony or outsiders who violate the above resolution.
