Our Correspondent Kohima | December 1 Kenouzou Wolves and North Block Warriors earned full points in today’s matches of the ongoing 5th 10-Northern Angami-I T20 Bash at Ziekezou Kohima Village Ground here. Kenouzou Wolves defeated Lower L Khel Vikings by 4 wickets in the first match. Electing to bat first, Lower L Khel Vikings scored 119/8 in 20 overs with Toto and Lijanbemo scoring 32 and 25 runs respectively. Tovi claimed 4 wickets for Kenouzou. Atu made light of the run chase as he smashed his way to a half century eventually going on to score 79 runs as Kenouzou achieved the target in 15 overs losing 6 wickets. Atu was later declared man of the match. In the second match, North Block Warriors beat Middle Bayavu Lions by 7 wickets. Electing to bowl, North Block Warriors bundled Middle Bayavu Lions for 98 in 15 overs. Warrior’s Khriesavituo and Wapang picked three wickets each. The side from North Block achieved the target in just 9.3 overs while losing 3 wickets with Renjanthung and Abhijit scoring 28 and 25 runs respectively. Khriesavituo was declared man of the match.
