Now JD(U) asks NDPP to furnish documentary evidence on merger

DIMAPUR, JUNE 26 (MExN): Days after the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and the Janata Dal (U) Nagaland unit merger announcement, the Janata Dal (United) national party have asked the NDPP to furnish relevant documentary evidences supporting the claim of the ‘official merger.’

In a letter addressed to NDPP president Chingwang Konyak, JD (U) National President Nitish Kumar through its Publicity & Program Coordinator, Mohammad Nisar said the “communiqué of the NDPP claiming official merger of JD (U) Nagaland Unit with NDPP has greatly tarnished the good image of the JD (U) widely and publicly.”

It has therefore asked the NDPP to furnish documentary evidences of the claim made, including the details of the state executive members, officer bearers on board etc within 7 days failing which the JD (U) cautioned, would be compelled to pursue other lawful course of action.
