Dimapur, September 6 (MExN): Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) is undertaking districts tour across the State from September 8 to 28. Led by President K Therie and a host of senior party leaders and office bearers, the tour will commence with dedicatory prayer meeting at Congress Bhavan, Kohima on September 8 and will culminate on September 28 in Dimapur.
NPCC in a press release has appealed to the people of Nagaland, irrespective of party affiliations, to come forward and be a part of the public meetings to hear the talk of senior party leaders especially on NPCC Roadmap that “promises to deliver the state from the prolonged spell of misgovernance.”
NPCC also welcomed all public leaders at various levels, intellectuals, service pensioners, working professionals, youths, students and women to put forth their opinions during discussion hours of the meeting, “as that will ultimately shape up the destiny of the people and the state if given an opportunity.”
Following is the itinerary of the tour where public meetings are scheduled: September 8 – Kohima, September 9 – Peren, September 13 – Mokokchung, September 14 – Longleng, September 15 – Zunheboto, September 16 – Wokha, September 21 – Mon, September 23 – Tuensang, September 25 – Kiphire, September 27 – Phek, September 28 – Dimapur.
