NPF destroyed Nagaland during its 13 years rule: NPCC president

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 23 (MExN): Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) president K Therie on Saturday criticized the Naga People’s Front (NPF) party for destroying Nagaland State during its 13 years rule.

According to a press statement from media cell, Therie, while addressing a public gathering at Kiphire town as part of NPCC mass contact tour said the regional party despite being given three chances by the people has failed to take the State forward on all fronts.

Claiming that there was no longer any hope or future to be expected from the NPF party, the NPCC president therefore said he was approaching the people with a dream to bring about the much needed change in the society.

Urging the gathering to join Congress to be a catalyst in bringing about change, Therie assured economic improvement of each household in the State if given the opportunity.

The NPCC president also appealed the State government to share their wisdom with the masses and to educate them on the various welfare schemes and facilities available for the public to take our society forward.

He also interacted with the leaders of Yimchunger tribe at Shamator wherein he exhorted on the importance of different communities and neighbors living together in peace and unity.
