NPF Manipur reviews political scenario

Newmai News Network Senapati | January 8   The Naga People’s Front, Manipur State Unit (NPF-MSU) in its meeting today resolved to submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister of India “to express the desire of the Naga people in the State of Manipur and to incorporate the interest of the Nagas in Manipur in the final solution”.   The meeting was attended by NPF-MSU president Awangbou Newmai, party legislators and office bearers. The purpose of the meeting was to “review the latest political development in the State”.   The meeting also resolved that the party will “continue to bear the legacy of the people’s aspiration and shall work hard to deliver the best.” The legislators of the NPF assured to the people that “as the people’s representatives we will uphold the dreams and wishes of the people”.   The NPF-MSU also said that it is committed and ready to contribute the best we can to the Indo-Naga peace process for its logical conclusion at the earliest.   “Any conflict must be resolved by sitting across the table, and let the Indo-Naga solution set an example to all the conflicts in our region,” it added.   The NPF-MSU also extended greetings to the people and wished that the New Year will bring goodwill and prosperity to all.
