Mon, September 6 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front (NPF), Mon division conducted ‘Installation Ceremony’ of newly appointed office bearers of Division, Women Wing, Youth Wing and Farmers Wing at Mon HQ on September 5.
The new team of office bearers for divisional unit is led by H. Pujok Konyak as president, Hongnaw HA Konyak as general secretary (Administration), K. Chingkai Konyak as general secretary (Organizing & Mobilization), Nangmeng Konyak as president (Women Wing), Longshah Konyak as president (Youth Wing), Chemjan Konyak as president (Farmers Wing).
Pohwang Konyak, Parliamentary Secretary and Chingao Konyak, General Secretary (NPF Central) In-Charge of Mon Division attended the ceremony as observers.
Pohwang Konyak told the party members to stand firm and work hard with utmost dedication and commitment to win the upcoming elections under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio and TR Zeliang, stated a press release from Hongnaw HA Konyak, general secretary (Admin).
Earlier, Chingao Konyak chaired the function and also delivered keynote address, Phelem Konyak, pastor of KBCM New Site Fellowship pronounced an invocation prayer, and Rev. Henshak Konyak offered dedicatory prayer for newly inducted party officials.
The ceremony was attended by host of NPF Central office bearers, CEC members, ex-candidates, A/C units presidents and officials from all nine Assembly Constituencies under Mon division and hundreds of party women and men, the release said.
