NPSA protest: Nagaland Police postpone recruitment process

KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 23 (MExN): The Nagaland Police today informed that it has postponed the recruitment process originally scheduled for September 24 in view of the mass casual leave proposed by the Nagaland Police Service Association (NPSA) on September 24 and 25. A press note from Sandeep M Tamgadge, IGP (HQ) and Chairman, Recruitment Board informed that the proposed rescheduled date, time and venue would be notified in the local dailies, DGP Facebook page and the department’s website at www.nanapol.gov.in. All candidates appearing for the recruitment have been asked to check for regular updates. It may be note that the NPSA has called for a mass casual leave on September 24 and 25 in protest against the Nagaland government’s controversial proposal and reported decision to promote the incumbent DIG (Fire & Emergency Services) to the rank of Inspector General (IG).
