Mon, August 14 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) observed the 73rd Naga Independence Day on August 14 at CFSB's (Cease Fire Supervisory Board) Office in Mon.
A press release issued by MIP NSCN(R) stated that President Y Wangtin Naga hoisted the Naga National flag at 10:30 am in the midst of special invitees from CSOs (Civil Societies Organizations) which included KU (Konyak Union), KNSK (Konyak Nyupoh Seko Khong), KSU (Konyak Students’ Union) and MTSU (Mon Town Students’ Union).
The Flag hoisting was followed by military parade with the mass singing the Naga national anthem ‘God Bless my Nagaland.’
Reverends from various churches also attended the programme who pronounced the invocation. The programme ended with mass benediction and thanksgiving.
