DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 5 (MExN): With the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) cautioning a list of states including Tripura, Manipur and Mizoram of heavy rainfall and cyclonic storm from November 4-6, 2016, the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department has issued a weather warning. “Although our state is not included in the list of states that has been warned of the extreme weather condition, the letter of caution is issued since we border the cautioned states,” a DIPR reported quoting the NSDMA stated. The NSDMA has therefore directed all concerned to keep close co-ordination, updating the State Emergency Operation Centre on any development in this regard. Contact numbers are-1070/2291122/2291120.
