Barak FC, Tyrants FC enter pre quarters

Barak FC Peren today blanked Eleven Avengers Phesama 6-0 in the second match and entered the pre-quarters of the ongoing NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2017 here.


Kivi Jimi Sumi opened the account for Barak FC in the 11 minute while Khwetelhi Thopi rose up on occasion to head the second goal in the 19th minute and Ratobe Zeliang made it 3-0 in the 30th minute for Barak FC.


Elminhao Kilong converted the spot-kick in the 38th minute. He went on to score his second and 5th goal for Barak FC in the 47th minute.


Alal Kuki scored in the 56th minute to make it 6-0 for Barak FC.


Tyrants FC came from behind to beat Dreams FC 2-1 in the first match to enter the pre-quarters of the tournament.


Suman gave the early lead for Dream FC in the 20th minute.


But with the introduction of the second half, Kethozo Thaprü level the scoreline in the 40th minute and two minutes later, Kevito Khizho scored the much-needed goal as Tyrants went on to win at the end of the final whistle.


With the win, Barak FC will face Tyrants FC in the pre-quarters on October 14.
