Phek, October 14 (MExN): The Nagaland State Co-operative Bank (NStCB), Pfutsero Branch celebrated the commemoration of its Golden Jubilee Year on October 14. The programme was chaired by Luidi Zeliang, Assistant Manager. The programme started with Rev. Dr. Yiepetso Wezah, Principal, Baptist Theological College Pfutsero said the invocation.
Mhathung Khuvung, Branch Manager while welcoming the gathering gave brief highlight about the Bank history and its activity and goals towards economic upliftment and emancipation of the economically weaker sections. He urged the gathering to continue reposing their trust and confidence on the bank while assuring them of their best possible service.
Kekhwengulo Lea Vice Chairman of the bank urged the gathering to take full advantage of the services rendered by the Bank by complying strictly to the terms and conditions. He congratulated the people of Pfutsero for their hardworking nature while also telling them that out of 21 branches of NStCB Phek district has 3 Branches for which the people can take full advantages. The bank being the State Bank of Nagaland it is everyone’s duty to promote and encourage it so as to make it at par with the other banks.
Diana Patton SDO(C) Pfutsero on behalf of the District Administration congratulated the branch on the occasion commemorating the Golden Jubilee celebration. Pfutsero being a commercial hub and a connecting point has potential to grow in every field and sector; if at all the people are willing and ready. Unlike others the people of Pfutsero are really hard working and so she urged them to continue their perseverance as the Bank is ready with the capital to reach out as and when the need arises. She urged them to continue their support toward the bank as the Bank reflects the face of the Govt. of Nagaland.
Rev. Dr. Kuzhopoyo Tunyi, Pastor, Chakhesang Mission Center Church on behalf of the customer congratulated and expressed his happiness for the rapid change and development the Branch has made in 2-3 years. He lauded the staffs for their courteous and efficient service rendered to the populace while stating that the people in return can give back nothing but their prayers are with them always.
The programme ended with Luidi Zeliang delivering the vote of thanks and Rev. Dr. Kuzhopoyo Tunyi sanctifying the feast.
