NSVDBA acknowledges RD Minister, DRDA employees

Dimapur, September 12 (MExN): The Nagaland State Village Development Board Association (NSVDBA) today acknowledged Rural Development (RD) Minister Metsubo Jamir for “bringing an amicable solution to the strike called by Department of Rural Development Agency (DRDA).


The resolving of the issue has resulted in the welfare of the 1,242 Villages in Nagaland, the Association alluded in a press release issued by NSVDBA President Tohoshe Awomi and General Secretary Manthungo Kikon. 


The Association further acknowledged the DRDA employees for heeding to its appeal made to call off the strike even though their “demand were not fully accorded.”


Prior to this, the Association  also  had a meeting with the Minister and apprised upon him on the resolved strike called by DRDA in the districts of Nagaland on August 27. 


It further expressed hope that the department  would work hand in hand to the best interest of the rural people of the state.
