Kohima, September 19 (MExN): N Zhünyü, the bronze medalist from Nagaland at the recently concluded 3rd World Nomad Games 2018, Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyztan, was felicitated at an event held under aegis of the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) at Japfü Ashok, Kohima on September 19.
Advisior, Youth Resources & Sports, Govt. of Nagaland, Er. Zale Neikha, the special guest while lauding Zhünyü’s achievement, termed it as “a pride and honour of the Indian contingent in general and the Nagas in particular. He also urged the medalist to pursue further achievement with sincerity and dedication.
Neikha also compliment the other wrestlers from Nagaland for their successful participation and commendable performance at the Nomad Games.
He further challenged all wrestlers to maintained obedience, firm determination, dedication and fearing God as their priority in order to become champions in their upcoming participations. NWA President Neivikuolie Khatsü also shared the team’s experience starting from their departure from Nagaland to Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan and back. The felicitation programme was followed by dinner.
