Dimapur, June 14 (MExN): The Dimapur police "chased and caught" a person who was stealing one motor cycle on June 24 at around 2:30 pm. The two wheeler was parked at Badum Pukhuri II, Purana bazaar area. It was a Bajaj XCD bearing the reg. no.NL 07E-8012,stated the additional superintendent of police, Dimapur in a pres note.
The note also stated that on further interrogation, the accused has been identified as Tokheko Chishi S/o Ghosheto Chishi of Zunheboto, however, resides at Thilixu near Timothy Theological College, Dimapur. The accused also confessed of stealing another motor cycle from the same spot and hiding it in the nearby jungle. Search was conducted and the stolen motor cycles bearing reg. no. NL07E-8012 and NL03-4330 was recovered. The accused was produced at the East Police Station, Dimapur and a case has been registered in this connection.
