The Online Electricity Bill Payment awareness programme was held on September 18 at DC's Conference Hall Mon HQ organized by Department of Power. W. Honje Konyak, DC Mon launched the Online Electricity Bill Payment under Mon District.
Er. SI Asangba Tikhir elaborated on mode of online electricity bill payment presenting in power point paying his own electricity bill online as a demonstration. He said that the State had already started four years ago but it reached Mon District only in the month of July 2017. Therefore, he also expressed on the need to create awareness among the general public on the online electricity Bill payment which reduce or lighten the workload of few electrical officers in particular and the public in general.
