Opang Jamir walks for Naga Tech Fest Fashion Show 2019

Fashion Model from Nagaland Opang Jamir walks the ramp at the recently concluded Naga TechFest Fashion Show 2019 in Kohima. Under the theme ‘NagaTech- Redefining Ideas,’ the 1st TechFest Nagaland 2019 was organised by Directorate of Technical Education, Nagaland from August 21-23. 

Fashion Model Opang Jamir walked the ramp for Designer Vilavono, Desinger Vizokhonu Rolnu and 5th semester students of Fashion Department of Polytechnic Kohima at the recently concluded Naga Tech Fest Fashion Show 2019 in Kohima. 

Under the theme ‘NagaTech- Redefining Ideas,’ the 1st TechFest Nagaland 2019 was organised by Directorate of Technical Education, Nagaland in Kohma from August 21-23.

During the fashion segment formal programme, Jamir, who was felicitated by the Department, said that ‘the felicitation in home state is very rare for fashion model and people from fashion industry’ and batted for support and encouragement for the growth of talented Models, Designers, Make-up, Hairstylist etc in the state. 

He also expressed his appreciation to the Polytechnic fashion department for recognizing and giving the platform, a press release informed. 

Jamir was the former Mr Earth India 2011, Mister India International 2012 and had represented India at Mister International 2012 Contest. He was also awarded as Best Male Model Northeast 2017 in Guwahati. Presently, apart from being a grooming trainer for aspiring models and beauty pageant candidates, he is working as Assistant Editor for The Northeast Window Magazine.
