Dimapur, August 5 (MExN): Peace Channel has announced that the 4th North East Youth Peace & Cultural Festival - 2011 is slated to be held on October 3 to 5, 2011 at LFHSS, Kohima, Nagaland.
During this youth peace and cultural extravaganza of the members, associates and collaborators of the movement, three individuals will be honoured with the Annual Peace Channel Awards for their outstanding contributions in the field of Peace Building and related issues. The awards will be given to a male and a female each above the age of 30 as well as a youth below the age of 30 for individual contributions to the society. Nominations for the award can be made to the office of the Peace Channel with a full bio-data of the person and a page write up on the person’s achievements/contributions towards the society with a photograph (hard/soft copy). The nominations should reach the office on or before September 15, 2011.
