Dimapur, May 28 (MExN): The Peace Club leaders and members were honoured by Peace Channel in a program conducted on May 25.
Resource person Supongtula Aier, highlighting the concept of Peace Channel Mission, said it is a movement of the youth initiated by those who have come forward to create “a major transformation from a culture of violence into a culture of peace, setting its borders beyond the borders of tribalism, caste, class, region or religion.”
She also spoke based on the methodology of the organization that change has to take place from within an individual in order to bring about transformation in the society.
Elvis, Chairman, Urban Housing, Netaji Colony thanked the team and assured to provide all possible help to the Peace Club for the sustainability of peace process in the colony which will ultimately contribute to the society towards Peace Building.
James Mavelil concluded the program by interacting with the youth and summing up with a short evaluation.
