PHED minister, NCSU mourn

Kohima, May 15 (MExN): Nagaland minister for PHED Jacob Zhimomi has expressed grief at the demise of K Medom Angami, a BJP leader, on May 11 in Dimapur. In a condolence message, Jacob described Medom as a prominent figure who served the society in various ways for many years. “His contribution to the people as a social leader and a senior political leader will be remembered and cherished for years to come and his demise is a great loss to the people of Nagaland in general and BJP in particular,” the minister added. He also extended condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.  

The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) head office Kohima has also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members of K Medom, who was also a member of NCSU. A condolence message from NCSU president, Pele Khezhie and general secretary, John Kath remembered the deceased as a man of principle and true leader. “In his early departure, the union has lost such great personality and the vacuum created by him will be difficult to fill,” it said. NCSU prayed that God grant solace to his family.
