Phek District Hospital Park inaugurated

Phek, September 12 (MExN): Neiba Kronu, Minister for Planning and Co-ordination, Land Revenue Parliamentary Affairs inaugurated Hospital Park of District Hospital Phek on September 12. 

Minister in his inaugural speech emphasized on the beautification of the hospital, as in health care patient's satisfaction should also be focused on beautification and cleanliness because it acts as a theraphatic treatment, a press release from District Media officer, Phek stated.

He said that 20-30 percent of the patients get well just looking at the beautiful landscape of the hospital, while adding that clean surrounding of hospitals marks the civilization of the society. 

The Minister further expressed happiness with the hospital management society of DH Phek, saying that management was “very important in any discipline for implementation of quality care.” He assured District Hospital, Phek all possible help for the better delivery of health care. 

Sachin Jaiswal, IAS Deputy Commissioner Phek in his short speech said that it was not only the responsibility of the nurses and doctors in managing the hospital but also the responsibility of the community which plays an important role in maintaining the health care. He called upon the community leaders, NGOs and youth leaders to give more effort in improving and sustaining the hospital.

He acknowledged Phek Town Baptist Church and Sohomi village for their contributions towards construction of the Hospital Park.
