Phek Town Youth Society seizes liquor

The PTYS and other organization representatives with the seized IMFL.   Phek, September 2 (MExN): The Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS), during early hour of September 1, received a “bizarre and unbelievable” information from a source in Phek Town colony that “a sack full of Rum liquor (IMFL) was raining down from the sky and hit the colony neighboring houses.”   Following this, the PTYS quickly inspected the spot and seized the “raining liquor bottles.” After thoroughly probing the situation, it was ascertained that the liquor had actually fallen from a storage room on third floor of the same complex from where the youth society impounded more liquor items, PTYS said in a press release.   In total, PTYS seized 105 bottles of MC Rum and 48 cans of beer from one bootlegger. Later, PTYS served the “defaulter” a stern warning for involving in “anti social activities” in the town, the release said.   Meanwhile, the seized items were destroyed at the dumping yard in the presence of Phek Town colony chairman, GB, Phek Area Mother Association and Chakhesang Mother Association.
