Kohima, August 21 (MExN): Senior Treasury Officer, Kohima, North, Vechiso Chakhesang has informed all the pensioners drawing pension from the Kohima North Treasury, that as per CTR 368, the annual physical verification for the current year 2019 will be conducted for Family Pensioners from September 16 to 21 and Life Pensioners October 14 to 23.
The timing will be from 12:00 pm onwards while on Wednesday and Saturday it will be from 10:00 am onwards.
All concerned pensioners have been informed to check their serial numbers and date in the notice board, which will be verified in sequence and come along with PPO book (pensioner’s Portion), renewed NPA ID card, Life certificate and non-marriage certificate. Contact numbers of those pensioners who are unable to come on genuine reasons (bedridden etc…) should be submitted to North Treasury office, whereby, an officer will be sent for the physical verification.
No further extension will be made beyond the grace period i.e., family pension on 21-09-2019 and life pension 23-10-2019, as all verified and unverified pension is to be compiled and forwarded to Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts, Nagaland, Kohima and the Accountant General, Nagaland, Kohima by November.
“No payment will be made without annual physical verification,” informed a DIPR report.
