PMKSY (IWMP) Batch II culmination prog at Tuensang

Tuensang, July 16 (DIPR): Culmination Programme of PMKSY (Integrated Watershed Management Programme) batch II held at CKS Hall Tuensang organized by Department of Land Resource, Tuensang.  

The programme was attended by Wanchamo Lotha Deputy Director, Department of Land Resources and beneficiaries of 20 villages and members of watershed management committee. P. Nribemo Patton DPO Land Resources highlighted on the activities under PMKSY (IWMP) and its functions and achievements. Imkumer Amer WDT (M) and Youngsola WC Chairperson Longtukur village both shared the experience sharing relevant to the PMKSY (IWMP).  

L. Jamithung Lotha, Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang the chief guest of the programme encouraged the beneficiaries to grow and prosper and challenged them to grow together with the rest of the village so that the government project will be a blessing to the village itself. He also advised to use the funds judiciously in a welfare oriented basis. Believe in the quality of product so that the result will be a profitable, he exhorted. He deliberated that every government project belongs to the public and work with commitment so that government projects will grow and prosper.  

The DC also distributed Watershed Management Fund to the watershed management committee chairmen in the programme.  

After the programme the LRD Tuensang organized an exhibition stall where the products of the projects were exhibited.
