Police personnel leads cleanliness drive

A mass cleanliness drive was initiated on the February 13th morning around the Indian Oil area in Mokokchung led by SDPO, Mokokchung. Around 70 people from different groups and well wishers took part in the cleanliness drive. The cleanliness drive also saw the presence of OC from PS I and PS II, Traffic Police OC and Women OC.  

SDPO, Mokokchung, Dinesh Gupta, after the cleanliness drive, gave a short talk on the importance of cleanliness and how the administration and the public can strive to work together. He also challenged the youths to exercise their right to vote with honesty and truth in the coming elections.  

A short exhortation was delivered by Limaonen Imchen where he thanked the Mokokchung Police for their efforts in maintaining peace and order and initiating many social works in the town. He said that this cleanliness drive is just the beginning and quoted Lao Tzu “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”  

The cleanliness drive concluded with a prayer by the Youth Evangelist, MTBA Youth Department, Monglier.
