Phek, September 4 (MExN): In view of the alarming increase in the number of conflicts in availing the Government provisions amongst the traditional legal landowners and non-landowners, it was felt the urgent need to take immediate steps to curb the cause by the Phekmi Phek Town Landowners Union Phek (PPTLUP).
The executive office bearers and the advisory board had a meeting on August 19, 2017 at Phek Village and decided to “involve itself for the demarcations and boundaries of the forefathers land for approval by the Government and for the welfare of the traditional legal landowners.”
The Phekmi Phek Town Landowners Union Phek (PPTLUP) has therefore, convened the general meeting for all the Phekmi traditional legal landowners of Phek Hq. Town on September 8 at Phek Town Council Conference Hall near PWD Rest House. All the concerned traditional legal landowners of both the acquired land and occupied land by the Government are asked to make compulsory in their attendance.
