Kohima, November 14 (MExN): The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind will be in Nagaland to attend the Hornbill Festival in December. A press release from Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) informed that along with the President, Union Defence Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman; Judge of Supreme Court, Justice Ranjan Gogoi, and Union Minister for Textiles, Information & Broadcasting Smriti Irani have confirmed their participation at the Hornbill Festival. Other VIPs who have been invited to participate in the upcoming Hornbill Festival include Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister; Nitin Gatkari, Union Minister for MoRTH; Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for DoNER; Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh; N. Biren Singh, Chief Minister of Manipur; Sarbananda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Assam; and Mahesh Sharma, Minister of State for Culture. However, they are yet to confirm their participation, the CMO stated.
