Priyanka grabs another International Assignment; joins Marvel's Universe

While the fashion world has its eyes fixed on which designer Priyanka Chopra will wear on her big Oscar night on February 28, the actress herself has already moved on to conquer new horizons. After three singles - 'In My City', 'Exotic' and 'I Can't Make You Love Me' - PeeCee will be lending her voice to Ms Marvel, the adventurous and feisty counterpart of Captain Marvel in a new series and mobile game application called Marvel Avengers Academy. Ms Marvel is a familiar face in the comic book and animation franchises of 'Captain America,' 'The Avengers' and 'Fantastic Four'.

While PeeCee is prevented from revealing anything about the project because of a non-disclosure clause in her contract her Mumbai-based publicist confirmed the news saying, "To build upon a fresh new 'Avengers' experience, several international artistes have been roped in to lend their voices to these iconic characters. Priyanka, who goes back to school for the part, was offered the role of Ms Marvel and she immediately gave her nod to it."   WWE wrestler-turned-actor John Cena will be talking for the Hulk, while Dave Franco will be heard as Tony Stark. Alison Brie joins them as the cynical rebel spy, Black Widow, Alexandra Daddario as Wasp, Colton Haynes as Thor, Bella Thorne as Tigra and Kiernan Shipka as Spider Woman.   "The team will set out on secret missions being developed by a team of animation artists and writers," adds the spokesperson. Previously, PeeCee also lent her voice to Ellie - the eponymous elephant of a new animated TV series - which will be converted into a docu-feature and travel through the US and Europe.
