Kohima, October 26 (DIPR): State Biodiversity Board, Nagaland will be conducting a one day training programme for officials of line department on ‘Implementation of Biodiversity Act, 2012’ on October 27 at Conference Hall, Forest Office Complex, Kohima. Chairperson, National Biodiversity Authority India, Dr. B. Meenakumari grace the training programme as the special guest.
Senior Consultant, NBA, Chennai, Dr. Sangita Mitra will speak on the topic Biodiversity Management Committee & People’s Biodiversity Register by ABS Mechanism &IPR. Prof. SASRD & Member, NSBB, Dr. Sapu Changkija will dwell on the overview of the States Biodiversity Board and Traditional Knowledge System while, Technical Executive and Consultant, NSBB, Neizokhotuo will speak on the topic Nagaland State Biodiversity rules 2011 & Naga Customary Laws.
