Phek, January 12 (MExN): The Phorü Students’ Union (PSU), which has its jurisdiction over Phor, New Phor, and Wuzu villages under Meluri sub-division of Phek district, celebrated its Golden Jubilee on January 9 and 10 at Phor village under the theme ‘Resurgere.’
Tarachu Fithu, Deputy Director, Urban Development, Government of Nagaland attended the jubilee as the chief guest, while Lüsüchu Phor, Chief Palynologist, Regional Geo-Science Laboratories, ONGC, Sivasagar, Assam was the guest of honour.
On the second day of the celebration, Y. Tatu Thurr, retired SDO (Civil) and Dr. Ritu Thurr, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kohima were the special guest and valedictory guest respectively.
The union also declared its Raffle Draw result and informed winners to collect their prizes by producing the original tickets within 15 days.
