PTPF to create awareness on clean election, global warming

Pfutsero, December 11 (MExN): Pfutsero Town Pastor’s Fellowship (PTPF) has resolved to carry out various activities during the year 2018.

One of them is to organize a ‘Clean Election Awareness Campaign’ in Pfutsero Town in January by bringing all churches together to educate all believers to participate in the coming election faithfully, honestly and in true spirit as a good Christian citizen.

At its annual meeting-cum-picnic on November 9 at Kade (Neiba’s farm), the Fellowship also decided to sensitize and educate all citizens in and around Pfutsero Town on the issue of global warming. The house decided to organize ‘Eco-Friendly Church’ by planting tree saplings on World Environment Day in collaboration with the Forest Department. The aim is to encourage every member to participate and make them understand that the church and its members have a role to play, stated a press release from Dr. Küzhopoyo Tunyi, Chairman PTPF.

Further, the meeting resolved to organize a combined ‘Spiritual Awakening Crusade’ in the month of October 2018 for the churches and believers of Pfutsero Town.

The Fellowship also re-nominated new office bearers for another term of three years (2018-2020): Chairman - Dr. Küzhopoyo Tunyi (Pastor, CMCC), Vice Chairman - Khrishna Ramuali (Pastor, Nepali Baptist Church), Secretary - Tekho Rova (Pastor, Poumai Baptist Church), and Treasurer - Moatoshi Jamir (Pastor, Ao Baptist Church).
