Appeal to the NPSC on wrong answers

The solutions on the recent preliminary test conducted by the NPSC contained several wrong answers. On the recent appeal to the NPSC (dated August 4, 2011) some persons had pointed several errors on answers committed by the NPSC, Negative marking is as high that a question so becomes precious. Yet, on the other hand, several wrong answers every year predicts something is very wrong or no one will just make an issue. Perhaps we know not whether it be printing mistakes or vice versa.
Yet another answer to a question provided by the NPSC came out to be incorrect. In Q.No. 92 (Series B) and in Q.No. 72 (Series A), the question, ‘The correct sequence of stages in the evolution of the Modern man (Homo sapiens) is, the Npsc had given ‘D’ and ‘C’ (Series B & C) i.e., Australopithecus, Neanderthal man, Cro-magnon man, Homo Erectus, Modern man. Whereas, Homo Erectus existed before the Neanderthals, and cro-magnon only after the Neanderthals. Hence the appropriate answer should be ‘B’ (in series A & B) which reads, Australopithecus, Homo Erectus, Cro-magnon man, modern-man.
The NCS/NPS/NSS and Allied services examination should have its own value. It is our earnest request to correct all the erroneous answers which are highlighted before and then. A wrong answer cannot be termed as right and hence it is an appeal to the Commission to check any side track and rather maintain its value as the highest Competitive examination in Nagaland State.
