Pughoboto, February 9 (MExN): Sub Divisional Planning Development Board (SDPDB) meeting was held under the Chairmanship of MLA & SDPDB Chairman, Y Vikheko Swu at the Customary Court Hall, Pughoboto on February 8.
SDO (Civil), Tiayanger Jamir reviewed the last meeting minutes. The MLA while highlighting the Khushe Foundation said that he has a plan for massive tree plantation in their area, a DIPR report stated. The house also agreed to apprise the villages to earmark the hillock area for more plantations for this year and asked the village to report to the board within this month regarding the saplings or species for plantation.
The board discussed the Naga United Club Aphuyemi Football Cup and asked the organization to bring aims and objective to brief in the next board meeting for discussion. BDO Ghatashi, Obed highlighted the problems faced under MGNREGA scheme for DBT and the house agreed to write a letter to the nationalized banks to open Bank Account for job card holders.
Mughatovi, Supervisor under CDPO Ghathashi presented a power point on programmes and activities of Social Welfare Department and status of Ghathashi ICDS project, which also have 53 Angwadi centers in Pughoboto division. EAC Pughoboto, Nuhuta Tunyi gave power point presentation on the Election. SDO Civil also presented on the visit to Mawlynnong village in Meghalaya by the cleanest awardee villages under Pughoboto sub-division.
