Pughoboto, February 10 (DIPR): Minister for Roads & Bridges Y. Vikheho Swu today shared the ground reality of the roads and water problems in Asukiqa under Pughoboto during the Pughoboto SDPDB meeting held at Dobashi Customary Court Hall, ADC Pughoboto. Reviewing the last meeting minutes, he said that the Pughoboto Aquqa road via Natsumi was given to NABARD, but due to ongoing works, new projects could not be taken up. Posting of headmaster at GHS Asukiqa was authorized to the ADC to forward the letter to the department concerned for immediate posting. The Minister added that Mathematics teachers are required not only in GHS Asukiqa, but the whole of Nagaland and the State government is trying its best to solve the problem. Tree plantation in all the 24 villages under Pughoboto sub-division was proposed under the LADP and is scheduled on May 7, 2016 with 10,000 to 20,000 saplings. The Minister said that the project was taken up not only to protect environment, but to revive economic stability in Pughoboto area. The house also entrusted the Police department to give PowerPoint presentation in the next SDPDB meeting which was proposed to be held at Asukiqa and the departmental badminton tournament was also approved to be held in mid-March.
