Pulse Polio immunization today 

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 18 (MExN): Joining with the rest of the nation, Nagaland will launch intensive Pulse Polio immunization today. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio in a tweet urged all parents who have children below 5 years to ensure that their children receive Polio drops, AIR News Kohima reported.  Department of Health and Family Welfare has informed that 2274 polio booths will be manned by 9096 health personnel and 441 supervisors along with other vaccines and logistics across the districts.  The department appealed to all sections of the society, especially parents of children below 5 years of age to come forward and ensure that all eligible children receive polio drops. For Kohima district, Deputy Commissioner Thejawelie Gregory will administer the first dose of polio drops at Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima at 8 am.
