Primary section of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur observed ‘Mahalaya’ celebration, which is the beginning of ‘Debi Paksha’ (Fornight of the Goddess) on September 19 at Pranab Jubilee Auditorium. The students staged a dace drama titled ‘Aagamani’ where the role of Goddess Durga and Mahishasura were performed by Rosy Mallick and Anup Deb respectively along with other participants. Direction and choreography was provided by Soma Chakraborty, A/T and the programme was conducted by Dilip Das, A/T. Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, PVHSS, blessed the occasion. The programme was graced with the presence of Monoj Bhattacharjee, Principal, LC Das, H/M, Partha Sarathi Chakraborty, In-charge, Primary Section and all the teachers and parents, guardians and students enjoyed the performance spell-bound.
