Imphal, December 14 (MExN): The National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Ram Madhav apparently is the first person to be granted Inner Line Permit (ILP) for entry into the state of Manipur.
Taking to Twitter and sharing a photo of his ILP permit on Friday, Madhav said, “Seems I happened to be the First person to secure Inner Line Permit before entering Manipur today.”
As per a permit issued by Joel G Haokip, Deputy Secretary, Home Department, Government of Manipur, the BJP General Secretary is granted the ILP for entry into Manipur for seven days from December 13-19.
The permit, marked serial number 1, was granted under the “provisions of Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation 1873, read with The Adaptation of Laws (Amendment) Order, 2019.”
