RBI conducts financial literacy prog at GHSS Pfütsero

Bank officials with teachers and students during financial literacy programme at GHSS Pfütsero on August 20.

Phek, August 20 (MExN): Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Guwahati conducted financial literacy programme at Government Higher Secondary School, Pfütsero under Phek district on August 20. 

The resource persons were Gautam Dhar, Assistant General Manager RBI and Amitabh Pande, Manager RBI. They spoke on different aspects of financial management and stressed on the need for adequate awareness.

The students and teachers were educated on the different nature of bank security system.  Dhar shared about different types of bank accounts and functions of the bank.  Pande spoke on bank and currency security system. 

The programme was attended by the students and teachers of the school.  W Onisimus branch manager SBI Pfutsero coordinated programme.

Later, the resource persons conducted quiz session after the programme and distributed gift bumpers to the students. RBI donated one computer set to the school.
