Inter-ward music contest today

Kohima, SeptEMBER 6 (MExN):
The NPF 9th Kohima Town A/C is organizing two day long Kohima Town Inter-ward Music (Solo & Band) competition at the State Academy Hall, Kohima from September 7 at 4:00 pm. Alemtemshi Jamir, additional chief secretary & development commissioner will grace the inaugural function as the chief guest.

Rescheduling of ATR flight

Dimapur, SeptEMBER 6 (MExN):
The Station Manager Air India Ltd Dimapur has informed that due to operational reason AI 9702 for September 7 (Dimapur/Kolkata ATR Flight) has been combined with  AI 709 and revised departure time of AI 709 now stands at 1155 hrs for Calcutta. All joining passengers of AI 9702 are requested to report for check-in at Dimapur Airport at 1030 hrs.

CTC summons contractor of Khouva Nullah rd

Dimapur, September 6 (MExN):
Chumukedima Town Council has summoned the contractor in-charge of Khouva Nullah Road junction to Social Welfare Department through St Joseph High School under Block-4 to report to CTC on September 7 at 10 a.m.  Stating this in a press release, CTC chief Advisor Thepfulhoutuo Shuya cautioned that failing to report as notified, the Council would be compelled to stop the ongoing works.

CANSSEA for scrapping of PFRDA Bill; meets Guv

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 6 (MExN):
The CANSSEA Central office bearers today met the Governor of Nagaland at his office chamber with the Memorandum of Pension Fund Regulatory Development Authority (PFRDA) and demanding that the same be scrapped. It was informed that as per the resolution of the All India State Government Services Employees Association with the Confederation of Central Govt. Employees and Workers, All India Banks Associations, All India BSNL Association, All India Civil Services association, All India Teachers Associations, All India Railways associations and Center for Indian Trade Union which had its meeting on 22nd July 2011 at New Delhi it was  resolved to submit Memorandum to its respected states Governor to support their demands.
This was stated in a press note issued by CANSSEA President Dr K David Sema and General Secretary Vekho Vero. According to the press note the Governor assured the delegation of CANSSEA to do the necessary action at the earliest and to forward the memorandum to the Prime Minister of India for redressing the demands.
As per the CANSSEA memorandum submitted, re-introducing PFRDA bill would have an adverse impact on the exchequer in general and on the prevailing service conditions of the civil servants and as such asked the Prime Minister to withdraw the bill from the Parliament.
