ANAATA informs its members for submission

Dimapur, October 11, (MExN):
The members of All Nagaland Aggrieved Adhoc Teachers Association (ANAATA) who were served show cause notice and who had replied to the same last year and were served for the 2nd time (fresh candidate if any) this year, have been kindly requested to collect the same at the respective SDEO (then DIS) –DEO

General Secretary, ANAATA, in a press note informed the members to submit the following documents:  Appoint order,  Approval (if any),  Latest A-roll or LPC (latest payment certificates),  Latest extension order,  Show cause notice along with Rs 500/- at global mobile system shop, fancy market Kohima and for Dimapur at Deo office.

Combination of AI flights on October 12

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 11 (MExN):
The Station Manager of AIR INDIA LTD. Dimapur has informed that due to operational reasons, the following departures ex-Dimapur is revised on October 12, WEDNESDAY. AI9702/12OCT is combined with AI709/12OCT (SCHEDULE DEPARTURE TIME AT 1155HRS).Hence passengers of AI9702 and AI709 are requested to report for check-in formalities at 1000HRS.

DMC informs

Dimapur, October 11 (MExN):
The Dimapur Municipal Council has informed its DMC advisory board members, ward/chairman and secretaries, GBs, enumerators and supervisors of Census 2011 that there will be workshop cum training on biometric capturing on October 21 at 11:00 am in the DC’s Conference Hall, Dimapur.
Therefore, all are requested to attend the said workshop without fail. However, in this connection a meeting has been convened on October 11 at 9:30 am in the office chamber of the chief executive officer of DMC. The respective ward chairmen and GBs are requested to attend the meeting without fail, stated a press note.

DTO revenue collection 2011

Dimapur, October 12 (MExN):
Enforcement wing under the charge of District Transport Officer Dimapur has collected government revenue of Rs. 9,27,150 from March 2011 to September 2011 by way of compounding fee. The compounded fees were during intermittent surprise checking conducted within Dimapur district from time to time. The District Transport Officer said that the government revenue collection press release was necessitated in view of query and allegation received by the department from several public, casting doubt.

KNCS beauty pageant on Oct 26

Dimapur, October 11 (MExN):
Kyong Naga Cultural Society (KNCS) has organized a Beauty Pageant - Mr & Miss Tokhu Kohima 2011, on October 26 at State Academy Hall, Kohima. Therefore, for the forth-coming event, all the contestants are requested to submit their entry form on or before October 14 to the Secretary KNCS at Multi-Access, Jail Road, Kohima.
 The Kohima Mr & Miss Tokhu Emong, 2011 will be highly entertaining, as it will showcase the intricate designs and colors of our tradition, Kids Traditional Free Style Fashion Show, multiple blends of Music and dances, apart from the ramp, informed a press note issued by joint secretary of KNCS N. Legal awareness prog at Kma, Dim & Mon by NSCW

Dimapur, October 11, (MExN):
The Nagaland State Commission for women in collaboration with NCW, Delhi is organizing ‘legal awareness programme’ at Kohima on 17th October, 2011, Dimapur on 18th October, 2011 and Mon on 20th October, 2011, respectively from 10:00 am. N.Hushili Sema IAS, Secretary, Nagaland Women Commission, in a press release stated that the programme will be based on the theme “Know your rights” with special emphasis on “Statutory Rights of Women”.

It also stated the list of delegates who were invited. One delegate each from VCC or head GB from each village, one women leader from each village from Kohima headquarters, two delegates each from APO, AWO, Representatives from all tribal community, All wards Head, GBs, All wards women representatives’, Nurse Association, Naga Students Federation, NPMHR.

From Dimapur HQ, two delegates each from Naga Hoho and Naga Women Hoho, one man and one woman representatives from all tribal community, all wards heads, GBs, all wards women representatives. From Mon HQ, two delegates each from Church, Town Committee and Konyak Union, representatives of all wards, students union, representatives from all tribes (Mon Town), Nurse Association, all heads of the department.

Miss Sumi 2011 Event Postponed

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 11 (MExN):
The Sumi Totimi Hoho has informed to all concerned that the Miss Sumi 2011 which was scheduled to be held on 14th October 2011 at Zunheboto Town Hall has been postponed to November 2011. According to press release note, the Hoho has stated that this decision has been made by looking at the larger interest of people, and further adds that it would now be held concurrently with the Sumi Ahunah festival in November.
Meanwhile, except for the change in date all other matters related to the event remain unchanged. Apologizing for the inconveniences caused, the Hoho appeals all concerned to remain cooperative. This was stated in a press note issued by Faustina Yeptho Arkha Press Secretary Sumi Totimi Hoho Nagaland.

                                         
BJP Nagaland meeting on Oct 24

The Bharatiya Janata party Nagaland state office bearers will convene a meeting on 24th October at 10.30 AM at BJP Head office Dimapur. Lachit Kachari, Secretary, BJP Nagaland, through a press release informed all different district guardian in-charges to submit their reports in the meeting. It was further added that all frontals head and cell Conveners are to attend the meeting positively.

RTC Hosts District Governor today

Kohima, October 11 (MExN):
The Rotary club Kohima, organizes short function and dinner in honor of Rtn. Prabhat Kumar Kedia, District governor, Dist 3240, Rotary international’s visit to Kohima, at Hotel grandeur at Kohima on 12 October at 6.00 pm. Rtn Impalong Longkumer PHF will be the master of ceremony while Rtn (Rev. Dr.) Tsibu Rutsa will pronounce invocation.
Rtn Kezhokhoto Savi, president RTC Kohima will deliver welcome address, special number by Rotary Trio, RC Kohima and vote of thanks will be proposed by Rtn. Dr Vikuotuolie Angami PHF and the progra mme will be followed by entertainment.

Probe into murder sought by LTM

Dimapur, October 11, (MExN):
The Langpangkong Tzukong Mungdang (LTM) has requested the authority concerned to investigate the killing of Imnatoshi of Yaongyimsen village on 2nd October, 2011 near Unger village under the jurisdiction of Langpangkong range by some unidentified miscreants. Chubatangit Jamir, vice president and Tako Jamir, general secretary, LTM in a press release has requested the District Administration to take up the matter immediately and bring the culprits to the judgement at the earliest.
