Chief Secretary informs

Dimapur, May 22 (MExN):
Chief Secretary, Lalthara has informed in a notification that consequent upon completion of deputation tenure, the Governor of Nagaland is pleased to release Mhathung Kithan IAS (Hy:86) Commissioner & Secretary and place his services with his parent cadre i.e. Haryana State with effect from May 19, 2011 (AN).

New fire station building inaugurated

Dimapur, May 22 (MExN):
The Superintendent of Police, Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services, Neilasa Sopfii inaugurated the new fire station building at Mon on May 17. A press note relieved here today stated that the total cost of the building come up to Rs 27, 37, 700/- only.

Chare-Kiding road to be renovated

Dimapur, May 22 (MExN):
The road between Chare and Kiding Village which falls at 41 km to 50 km on NH-202 (NH-155 old) will be renovated soon. Responding to the article published today, May 22, SE PWD NH Circle-II Kohima, N.Ghokuto Sema in a press note has informed that the ministry has already sanctioned and the tender almost finalized to take up the work during this current financial year. Therefore the concerned public living in and around Chare and Kiding village are requested to kindly bear with the department as works are about to commence.  

164 INF BN (TA) (H&H) Naga provides PC sets

Kohima, May 22  (MExN):
Five computers were presented to Imlong Theological College, Tuensang (Nagaland) on 06 Apr 11 by 164 Inf Bn (TA) (H&H) NAGA, as part of under Military Civic Action project under Operation Sadbhavana 2010-11. Officiating Commandant 1 ASSAM Rifles inaugurated the project initiated by 164 Inf Bn (TA) (H&H) NAGA to fulfil the long outstanding dream of the students for computer literacy in the region. The handing over ceremony was attended by various officials of civil administration including students and teachers of Imlong Theological College, Tuensang. Principal , students and teachers of the Imlong Theological College appreciated the efforts the Army and Assam Rifles and extended their gratitude to 164 Inf Bn (TA) (H&H) NAGA for the noble gesture.
