No entry for vehicles towards New Market

Dimapur, June 14 (MExN):
The entry of vehicles toward New Market from Church Road area will be strictly restricted from June 15 till June 30 to facilitate the ongoing construction works at the area. Commuters are requested to bear with the inconvenience caused, stated the additional superintendent of police, Dimapur in a pres note.

Parliamentary Quiz & Competitions underway

Dimapur, June 14 (MExN):
The State Level Parliamentary Quiz and the Youth Parliament Competitions for Students representing different districts from various Institutions in the State is underway at the ATI Auditorium, Kohima from June 14 to 15, 2011.  Screening of Students participating in the debate was conducted today led by Co-ordinator of the Competition, Asstt. Prof. Kohima College Kohima, Evonthung Ezung.  Rehearsal for the debate was carried out with two students from each district followed by voluntary speech from the other participants. Thirty six  students and teachers from various districts are taking part in the Parliamentary Competition. Judges for the Debate and Quiz competitions are Asstt. Prof. Z. Solo Kohima College Kohima, Department of Political Science, Asstt. Prof. Enuice Alinges, Department of History. The Debate competition will be held tomorrow.  
DCCI, KCC joint meeting held

Dimapur, June 14 (MExN):
The DCCI and KCC held a joint meeting at Hotel Saramati on June 10. After a brief introductory session, DCCI president Hokivi Chishi welcomed the KCC team headed by the KCC vice president A Dail. He expressed the need of learning a lot from KCC  and to work together in order to create a smooth and peaceful atmosphere for both Kohima and Dimapur. Daili, the VP KCC, in his speech congratulated the new team of DCCI office bearers. He assured of the KCC full support and assistance in every way possible. He also expressed the need to have a larger body by forming Nagaland Chamber of Commerce. Deliberation on how to tackle the problems faced by business communities in Kohima and Dimapur was discussed, stated a press note issued by DCCI general secretary Thungbemo Murry and president Hokivi Chishi.
