Regional National Children’s Science Congress held in Kendriya Vidyalaya

Judges inspect the projects of students at the 25th Regional National Children’s Science Congress held on October 23 at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dimapur.
  Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Tinsukia Region conducted 25th Regional National Children’s Science Congress on the theme ‘Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development’ on October 23 at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dimapur.   The exhibition was inaugurated by Brig. DS Rawat, Chairman, VMC, KV Dimapur. Around 9 schools from Tinsukia region participated in the event, which is organized every year with a view to encourage and inculcate a scientific temper among students and create more awareness of science and technology, stated a press release from principal of KV Dimapur.   The panel of the judges comprised of Arvind Kumar, Executive Engineer (BRO), Dushmanta Kumar Das, HoD, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (NIT), Nagaland, and Dr. P. Chinnaamuthu, HoD, Electronics and Communication (NIT), Nagaland.   The participants were judged on the concept of the project, scientific approach, clarity of the project and skills, team work and presentation, the release added.
