Rokokhono gets Ph.D
Kohima, January 28 (MExN): The vice chancellor, Nagaland University has declared Rokokhono Nakhro to be professionally qualified for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in geology of the University. This is subject to rectification by the Academic and Executive Council of the University, a notification received here said. The topic of the thesis is “A study of structure, sedimentology and tectonics of the area around Piphema, Kohima, District, Nagaland” and Dr. Nagendra Pandey
as supervisor.

Kohima, January 28 (MExN): The Phek District Sports Association (PDSA) informed all those intending participants in athletics at the ensuing PDSA meet 2011 at Lephori that one player is entitle for only 3 athletics event. Stating this in a release, PDSA sports secretary Shurhonieyi Soho informed the players to keep this in mind.
