'Regularize W/C employees'

Dimapur, January 10 (MExN): The All Nagaland PWD Field Worker’s Association (ANPWDFWA) has appeal to the Minster Road and Bridges, Nagaland for regularization of W/C employees, those who have completed 15 years of continuous services in PWD (R& B) & Housing Department in the existing vacancies due to implementation of Nagaland Retirement Bill Second Amendment Act 2009.
The appeal issued by Inakhu Aye, president and K. Atovi Awomi, general secretary, ANPWDFWA stated that as per the letter of the Deputy Chief Engineer PWD (R&B) Nagaland issued on March 22, 1993 and 2003 Election Manifesto: Intoduction Sl. No 11 Work charge employees” the senior W/C employees are entitled to state that till date none of the senior employees were regularized. It was also mentioned that a regularization board was setup on August 3, 2010, but so far, no positive response has been availed.
ANPWDFWA in a separate press note also informed that it held a general meeting on January 7, 2011 at PWD Rest House Dimapur under the chairmanship of president, Inakhu Aye. The Association informed that it deliberated on ROP case wherein, the house unanimously resolved to affiliate to government and departmental Association for the welfare of employees. Accordingly out of 32 Division PWD (R&B) and Housing, 27 Division resolved that all work-charge employees are in need of ROP.
Also, the association resolved on matters related to Silver Jubilee and all the respective divisions are informed to submit previous/present president and general secretary’s articles along with two copies of passport size photograph to the Central Office bearers for magazine purpose. On regularization of all the W/C employees, the house unanimously resolved to stick one on the Association Memorandum submitted to the government and also to stick on the letter of the Deputy Chief Engineer PWD (R&B) Nagaland and to also as per the Election Manifesto “Introduction Sl. No 11 Work charge employees.”
 Further the ANPWDFWA informed that 21 divisions under PWD (R&B) department and six divisions under PWD Housing department were affiliated to the Association.
