Reliance to offer free fuel to emergency vehicles carrying COVID-19 patients

KOHIMA, APRIL 1 (MExN): The Directorate of Health & Family Welfare has informed that the Reliance Industries Ltd under its corporate responsibility has decided to offer free fuel to emergency service vehicles.

 

The fuel will be provided strictly to vehicles carrying COVID-19 patients to and from designated quarantine and dedicated COVID-19 Hospitals or Isolation facilities, and carrying people who have been advised quarantine at designated quarantine or Isolation facilities.

 

Free Fuel will be issued by Reliance Retail Outlets only to emergency service vehicles driver/ crew on production of authorization letter issued only by the following authorized government authorities which include the district administration officer identified by the DC, Chief Medical Officer of the district and district police administration identified by the SP.

 

Fuel quantity has been capped at up to 50 litres maximum per vehicle per day or any quantity up to 50 litres maximum. The free fuel gesture will be available till April 14.
